Be yourself. It’s the best filter.

We try so hard to avoid rejection that we lose ourselves in the process. It’s not our fault, really. It’s nature. We were designed to be part of groups because that’s how we survived. Strength in numbers. We’re wired to avoid rejection like our lives depend on it

The problem is when we lose ourselves, our path, in the process. We wake up one day surrounded by people who aren't our people. Always anxious. Always performing. Always holding ourselves in so we keep the shape we think they’ll accept.

It's exhausting not being you.

It's lonely not being surrounded by your people.

If you can trust your own value enough to simply be yourself and not panic when you lose a few poeple, then you’ll quickly start to notice that those who stay are your people. They energize you and inspire you to become the best version of yourself.

Reframe “rejection” as dodging a bullet or noticing an uneven stair before you tripped on it. It’s benign and has nothing to do with your value.

You are not for everyone. Not everyone who crosses your path is your responsibility. They’re NPCs in your game - extras in your movie.

Being yourself is a great filter. Your vibe attracts your tribe.

If you don’t like who you attract, then change your vibe. You can change your vibe by changing what you set your sights on.
